BACKGROUND

Suburban Collection Showplace is the largest, privately-owned exposition, conference and banquet center in Michigan. The state-of-the-art facility sits on 55 acres of land directly off of the I-96 expressway in Novi, Michigan. The 460,000 square foot facility, Suburban Collection Showplace has been host to a variety of events including: public expositions, trade shows, association and corporate conferences, and social events.

WHAT'S SPECIAL

Suburban Collection Showplace is Southeastern Michigan’s premier exposition, conference, and banquet center. Each year 2 million people enter through a grand atrium style entrance of pre-function, lobby space. The exposition space has a total of 305,000 +/- square feet of multipurpose exhibit floor. The space is dividable into three exposition halls, and our Event Center features 14 additional meeting rooms. The facility was carefully designed to meet all event needs. There are a total of only 45 columns throughout the entire exposition space. Our Event Center Event Hall features a 40' clear ceiling throughout the Hall for the ability to host numerous types of events. Each additional hall boasts a 28' ceiling with 24' true clear throughout, dedicated loading docks, 480 120/280 three phase power, and both wired and wireless internet connectivity.

EXTRA SPECIAL

The elegantly appointed Diamond Banquet and Conference Center welcomes all guests through a 25,000 square foot lobby. The 20,000 square foot Diamond Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,300 people at a banquet style setting. In addition, the entire column-free space is dividable into 5 rooms to accommodate smaller events. The Diamond Ballroom ceiling is a soaring 18 feet high and has been structurally designed for hanging light trusses and audio-visual equipment platforms.

The Pennsylvania Convention Center spans several blocks in Center City Philadelphia. Its mailing address is 1101 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19107. Here are general directions on how to reach the facility which conveniently is located above Septa's Jefferson Station

  • Take I-76 East to Exit 344 for I-676 East.
  • Follow signs for Central Philadelphia.
  • Take I-676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (4 traffic lights).

  • Take I-95 North to Exit 22 for Central Philadelphia I-676.
  • Stay in the left lane of this exit.
  • Follow signs for 676 West to the 1st exit (Broad Street).
  • This exit brings you up onto 15th St.
  • Get into the left lane and follow the sign for 611/Broad Street and make a left turn on to Vine Street.
  • Follow signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center.
  • Make a right on to 12th Street.
  • The entrances to the Convention Center are located two blocks ahead at the NE and NW corners of 12th & Arch Streets.

  • Take I-95 South to Exit 22 for Central Philadelphia I-676.
  • Stay in the left lane of this exit.
  • Follow signs for 676 West to the 1st exit (Broad Street).
  • This exit brings you up onto 15th St.
  • Get into the left lane and follow the sign for 611/Broad Street and make a left turn on to Vine Street.
  • Follow signs for Vine Street/PA Convention Center.
  • Make a right on to 12th Street.

  • Follow Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 20 / I-476 (Mid County Interchange).
  • Take I-476 South to Exit 16/ I-76E Philadelphia.
  • Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles.
  • Exit at 344 / I- 676 East.
  • Take I-676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th (4 traffic lights).

  • Take the NJ Turnpike to exit 4 (Philadelphia / Camden Exit).
  • Get onto 73 North and follow it to 38 West.
  • Take 38 West following the signs directing to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (The Bridge is 30 West), crossing into Philadelphia.
  • Follow the signs for Convention Center (this is Vine Street).
  • Go approximately 6 blocks, make a left turn onto 12th Street.

  • Take PA 309 South to Pennsylvania Turnpike.
  • Follow Turnpike West to Exit Mid County Interchange / 476S Chester.
  • Take I-476 South to Exit 16 / I-76 Philadelphia.
  • Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles.
  • Exit at 344 / I- 676 East.
  • Take 676 East and exit at Broad Street/Rt. 611 (2nd exit).
  • You will be on Vine Street.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (4 traffic lights).

  • Take US 611 South into Philadelphia (611 South becomes Broad Street).
  • Go South on Broad Street for approximately 8 miles.
  • In Center City, turn left onto Vine Street / Local Traffic.
  • Follow Vine Street to 12th Street (2 traffic lights).

  • Take Atlantic City Expressway to 42 North.
  • Follow 42 North to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge (Rt. 676), crossing into Philadelphia.
  • Follow the signs for Convention Center (this is Vine Street).
  • Go approximately 6 blocks, make a left turn onto 12th Street.

  • Take the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike I-476 towards Philadelphia
  • Take Mid-County Exhig and merge onto I-476 South
